drabble: grimm & lobco; remember me

Lunatia at night was a sight that Lobco doesn’t think she would ever get tired of. The sky was a canvas of black ink, but all around them were bright lights in hues of pink, purple and cyan. The storm had cleared the road of both vehicles and but a few stragglers darting to their destination. Watching the soaring skyscrapers through a curtain of rain, nearly drowned out music coming from one of the nearby stores was mesmerizing.

She could close her eyes and drift off to this, but she was equally tempted to run out into the rain. To run and jump and slap around would be so much fun and remind her of all those rainy days of her tropical home.

That said she was glad to also enjoy just watching it from the comfort of this bus stop with it’s glass walls and seating—largely because of her present company.

“You can teleport home if you want, you don’t have to stay here with me.” She assures.

“I am enjoying my time with you, and Grimmchild is in good hands with the Knight. You need not worry for me. Besides it would be quite rude of me to leave you stuck out here, alone.”

Grimm, as always, was one who she felt as peace with. Among most others in her life, even those she considered friends there were few she could enjoy such close quarters and silence with. Her gaze turned to him by her side, much like her he was fascinated by the sight and regarded the way the rain cast the world into a colorful haze with an appreciative eye. It was probably silly of her, but she couldn’t help but be oddly happy to see it.

just the two of us (lobco & thk)

It was her second winter here in Prismatica.

It was hard to believe that she had been here for over a year now. Time had passed so quickly she had scarce noticed it for so much had changed in such a short amount of time. The changes were largely all for the better and these days Lobco found herself doing much better than she had in a long, long time. Sometimes it felt unreal, sometimes her own lack of belief that it was ok to be happy and have hope set her back but all in all?

    Lobco was happy.

She was happy for all the wonderful friends that she had found--people who reminded her of what love, respect and gentleness were, she was happy to finally be because of all that had happened with Danny who never made her feel weak or stupid, she was happy to have her future back. She could make her own decisions about her life, from as large as what she wanted to pursue vocationally, to as small as what ribbon she wanted to wear for a walk.

She was happy to have met and have by her side, Hollow Knight.

It had been several months now since they had become partners but sometimes it still felt like just yesterday and it was with barely restrained excitement that Lobco clocked out for her workday at Roman Holiday. They had all been kept quite busy now as the days had gotten colder and while she certainly appreciated the extra Chroma and Demichroma it brought she had been eager for today to be over for she had reserved a private bath for the two of them after work.

Without changing out of her uniform she hurried to the entrance to see if Hollow Knight had arrived.

    partners in (solving) crime

[It was astounding how quickly things could change in so few years. The ease with which humans and monster had come together peacefully and constructed society to assimilate one another made her wonder why the war had ever happened...or why the humans had never done anything to destroy the barrier.

Perhaps it was best not to look a gift horse in the mouth. Things were good--lovely even as far as relations between monster and humans went. If that were not the case she would have had little chance to gain the job that she did in forensics. It was a new job but one she was excited about--and even more so because today she was to meet her partner.

It was also very, very nerve wracking.

The shrimp peeked into the office that was to be their shared room and hurridly entered, placing her documents down on the desk with her nameplate on it. She quickly took out her pocket mirror to make sure she looked professional and ready before setting it down and sitting at her desk, shifting impatiently in anticipation.]

Contract Breaking (canon to [community profile] prismatica)

It had been a little over half a year since Lobco had arrived in Lunatia.

The shrimp couldn't decide whether that was a long time, or a short time. In the grand scheme it was but a blip, but so much had happened in those six months that time seemed to run differently. When she first arrived she had been terrified--not only by the Prismals and this odd world, but even more so by what her absence might inflict on the people that she had left behind. Roc was not a man who dolled out empty threats, and the deal he had finally acquiesced to when her health began to deteriorate was that she would have some limited freedom so long as she always returned to him at the appointed time.

If not he knew where Chlomaki lived, with all her familiars.

The message had been clear, and so every day that passed with her here had made her terror and anxiety grow, certain that by now her master and fellow familiars had been killed. The nightmares had been endless then, but as time passed, she learned more of the positions of the Moonblessed here, and with it came clarity.

Lobco did not trust this supposition that time did not move forward when someone was brought to Prismatica by the will of the moons. At best the evidence for it was flimsy and difficult to prove, at worst the hypothesis was downright suspicious for how convenient it was )

    Drabble: Grimm & Lobco; bedsharing

    Requested by [personal profile] hagrides

Tonight would be a night in which sleep evaded her once more. It wasn't unusual here in this world where she had no potions that would grant her a dreamless sleep, yet it took its toll on her.

Lobco had left her aquarium when it became evident that her anxiety wouldn't even allow her to get far enough to experience nightmares and settled instead on the bed that had thus far seen no use from either of this apartments occupants. What need was there? She stuck to her aquarium, surrounded by soothing waters and Grimm found comfort in being wrapped up by his wings, hanging from the ceiling.

The shrimp looked toward where he was usually nestled only to not find him there and then jumped a bit when she heard his deep voice call out to her: "Lobco?"

She quickly turn to her other side, a hand pressed to her chest to find him standing by the bedside.

"I apologize. I did not mean to startle you."

Lobco looked towards her friend and roommate standing at the side of the bed and wondering how long he had been there. She gives a faint smile and waved his apology off.

"It's okay, Grimm. No harm done. My head is just not all here."

He tilts his head to the side in an almost pensive manner--it's cute and makes Lobco smile for a moment--a smile that disappears when he asks: "Nightmares?"

There's an awkward moment in which she tries to figure out out how to say it's not quite that without admitting to the fact that it's because her mind can't even sit still from conjuring up imagined fears and self-loathing thoughts. Thankfully Grimm speaks up just as she's about to force herself.

"It's alright, friend. You don't have to tell me if you do not wish. Is there anything I can do to help?"

At first she starts to shake her head: she knows the only thing that can really be done is to simply wait out these thoughts and hope they go away soon, but then she finds herself speaking. "Will you stay here with me?"

She can tell the words surprise him, and they surprise her too as well.

"Are you certain?" There is no disdain or disgust in his tone, only concern and that touches her. Lobco simply nods and holds out her hand which Grimm gently takes while lowering himself in the bed next to her. When he opens his arm she is quick to slide into them, and when he wraps his wings around her she feels safer than she's felt in a long, long time.

"I'm not too hot, am I?" he asks as she settles her head against his chest. Again, Lobco simply shakes her head.

Grimm says that he can't make her nightmares go away, that he would only make them worse. On some level, perhaps he's right. There are no words, no magic, no spells...not a single person who could make them or her fears or her pain go away.

Yet he doesn't seem to realize how just him being him, in all his kindness, his gentleness and sincerity gives her so much hope and comfort; makes her certain that the ideals and convictions that she stuck to weren't for naught.

It means more than words could ever express and in time she finally finds herself drifting off to sleep.

    CHARACTER
    NAME: Hornet
    CANON: Hollow Knight
CANON POINT: Post Dream No More Ending
AGE: A hundred years, possibly several hundred.
    BACKGROUND: Wiki Link

PERSONALITY: When speaking of Hornet, the White Lady describes her as "a fierce foe, strong in mind and body." This statement hits the nail on the head, but other important aspects of Hornet are her tendency to be single-minded, and an attitude that can be likened to the end justifies the means.

From the day she was born--for Hornet's birth came purely out of political reasons--she has been raised and trained for the purpose of being a fighter, continuing the royal line in Deepnest, serving as a means to better its state and ensuring Hallownest's survival.

Hornet took this mantle that she had been given very seriously and it forged her into a hardened person who has no qualms taking the lives of others if she sees them as a threat to her home. It matters not if they aren't actively seeking to cause it harm, she is willing to even kill her siblings and claims that "I'd feel no sadness in a weakling's demise." an attitude she had built up after seeing her home fall apart, seeing everyone included her loved ones die and either succumb to the infection or be a victim in some other way of it.

This caused Hornet to put up her barriers. It was only after seeing how the first few escaped vessels died on their own that the idea was instilled that there was little point in forming such attachments. Thus she spent many, many years in solitude protecting the Dreamers, the Black Egg Temple and her father's former body. Outsiders and vessels that she deemed a threat fell quickly to her needle until the act came to mean very little to her.

Loathe as she would be to admit it or have it pointed out, she takes a lot from her father. Apart from the emotional walls that she puts up in an attempt to to complete her duty, she also has quite a lot of pride, a penchant for inventiveness, and a stoic manner. Much like him, she also does have her soft spot--namely the attachment to her mother--the only person that she'll admit to mourning; and the Hollow Knight and little Ghost, who she would be hard pressed to admit to mourning.

This spider very much gives the appearance of someone who is very calm, collected, and has unshakable confidence.

What she will not say is that all those years most definitely took its toll on her. Until the Knight showed up Hornet had resigned herself to either one day succumbing to the infection like all the rest, or taking the place of her mother as the Dreamer for the new vessel. Which is why while she left the decision of what to do at the Black Egg Temple to the Knight, she did express her own desire for them to take the harder road. Exhaustion would probably be an apt way to describe Hornet's feelings about her life; she would never abandon her duties, nor does she want to, but for all her strength even she has her limits which still eat away at her.

All this said, if she doesn't perceive of someone as a threat, Hornet is not needlessly cruel. While she enjoys a good fight she will not seek to harm or condescend others and she gives acknowledgement and praise where it is due as shown by some interactions with her half sibling, the Knight (or little ghost as she calls them) and Forge Daughter.

When it comes to interacting with people outside of a business fashion, so to speak, Hornet is a little lost. She doesn't like small talk or beating around the bush (though in this regard she can be a bit of a hypocrite) and she hasn't exactly had anyone to talk to for perhaps hundreds of years. It makes it very difficult for her to open up to anyone and so she has a tendency to keep her lips sealed and carry any emotional burdens on her own; she very much dislikes being seen as vulnerable or incapable in any capacity.

Hornet creates her own tools and weapons and is an attentive person when it comes to learning, whether the subject be physical or mental. She's a sharp person and her long years of solitude have given her ample time to read all manner of books and to hone not just her combat skills, but also to pick up on how to play music with silk.

    POWERS/ABILITIES:

Needle: Unlike her siblings, Hornet wields a needle specifically constructed for her that allows her to use it for both close range, and in combination with her silk, long range combat. She is an incredibly skilled fighter having used it from when she was a tiny child and for all the years that she served as Hallownest's guardian.

Spider/Wyrm Physiology: Having been born of a spider and an elder being wyrm Hornet is technically both, however, thus far we know little of what her wyrm blood does for her.

Being that she is a spider she can produced silk which I will explain in more detail below. She is speedy, quite dexterous can jump about twice her height in the air but cannot climb up walls as far as we've seen thus far.

Silk: Hornet is part spider and capable of producing silk. With this she can have incredible amounts of maneuverability both for herself and her weapon which has a hoop at its end she can attach said silk to. Her silk can reach up to thirty yards. This silk can be produced instantaneously and seems to possess magical properties. It can both become incredibly sharp, enough to slice up anyone who gets hit by it, and can also be used to heal severe wounds by wrapping them around the wound.

Craftsmanship: Hornet knows how to construct various weapons. Among these are balls with sharp, jagged needles all around them which she hangs from her thread to create barriers and obstacles, explosives, and vials of lifeblood.

INVENTORY: Her needle, cloak, a vial of lifeblood and a singular sawblade.

    MOONBLESSING: Sanguis

    CHARACTER
    NAME: Lobco
CANON: Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea / Funamusea
CANON POINT: Post True End, post Unlucky Shrimp System
AGE: : Coded Physically+Mentally: Early Twenties, Biological: 100-200 years.
BACKGROUND: Lobco is the daughter of a giant lobster named Doloz, and the shrimp-person, Cherryblod. They are all sea creatures and current residents of the Great Kingdom ruled by Princess Uomi. It is a peaceful sea, and had been for all of Lobco's life but it hadn't always been that way. Long ago it was ruled by the Sea God and all was tranquil. He had two daughters, Princess Uomi and Princess Mikotsu. Unfortunately the tranquility was broken when he one day disappeared, his last act being to choose Uomi as his heir.

Feeling slighted, Princess Mikotsu gathered up followers and the kingdom was divided between those who supported Uomi, and those who supported Mikotsu. War waged for a very long time, nearly ripping the kingdom apart until the Great Sorcerer Meikai--Wadanohara's father-- stepped in and used a spell to seal Mikotsu and her followers into the Red Sea. The Red Sea, also known as the Sea of Death, is a sea that exists parallel to the regular one (called the Blue Sea). It is a place of pain and corruption where the worst and basest instincts of a person are brought out, and where nothing can ever truly die. The two sisters were connected in such a way that both share the same sleep cycle--when one was awake, so was the other. When one was asleep, so was the other. Thus, to prevent her from ever escaping, Uomi put herself in a deep sleep as well.

Many, many years later Lobco was born. Doloz and Cherryblod were the parents whose love did not diminish in the slightest after decades (possibly centuries) together. They love their daughter very much which made for some rather sheltered upbringing, and as most of her time was constantly spent with them Lobco grew up to be someone who can often be shy around others. Lobco was never bothered by this, for she holds just as much love for her parents.

From her youth she always had a fascination with Witches, as depicted by all the many books on Witches in her room. She was always a shy and timid girl but at some point in her early teenhood she decided to do something that very, very few sea creatures ever do: she left it. During her travels she came upon an incredibly powerful Witch named Chlomaki who took her on as her Familiar. Since then she is often away from home, traveling with Chlomaki and getting into misadventures with her. Around this time there is one other significant event that happens in Lobco's life that will be addressed further at the end of the biography since there is unfortunately a lot of information missing in canon.

Several years after this is the start of the game. Chlomaki and Lobco take Wadanohara to the Witch world for the first time so that she may meet the Great Witch there. Upon returning, the Great Witch notices that Wadanohara left behind her ocarina which carries sentimental value. She sends Chlomaki and Lobco after her to return it, with a suggestion to Chlomaki that she visits the sea in order to open her mind. Thus the two sometimes join up with Wadanohara and her crew when they are underwater.

For much of the game Lobco, via Chlomaki seems to play an observational role. Chlomaki seems to understand a good deal of what is going on and what Wadanohara (the protagonist) is going through. There is only one moment when the two intervene to help Wada and her Familiars, and in this moment Lobco shows unexpected strength when she saves the group from a horde of killer, sentient, and very pissed off rabbits from a kingdom that is invading.

From there on out, she once more continued to simply oversee things on the orders of Chlomaki, but things unfortunately spiral out of control. The truth behind the seemingly random invasion of the Tosatsu Kingdom, was that traitor within the Sea Kingdom has been killing civilians and soldiers of theirs and sending threatening letters under the name of Princess Uomi. This traitor was Sal, a shark in her service. When Tosatsu's invasion came to Uomi's steps she was finally forced to awaken, and thus so was Mikotsu, and the door to the Red Sea opened.

The corruption spread throughout the sea, and through circumstances unknown to Lobco, Wadanohara was also corrupted and converted to be a follower of the Red Sea. Unable to stand seeing her home the way it was, Lobco departed from Chlomaki, desperate to do anything that she could to save her loved ones and precious home.

There is one other thing that needs to be said about Lobco that takes previous to all this. An important thing to know about Funamusea and their works is that all their games, comics, and flash series are contained within the same universe, and spread across different worlds. A lot of the information we get about various characters and their relationships with each other comes from art, mini comics, and questions that they answer. When it comes to Lobco, Funamusea has describe her as a "poor shrimp [who] lives a pitiful life". She had been depicted with a certain character by the name of Roc Hijoushiki enough times that despite still lacking a fair amount of context, I still can't completely ignore their relationship, especially considering how much of an impact it has on her personality.

Roc Hijoushiki is a demon at whose hands Lobco has suffered a lot. She's been through kidnapping, blackmail, torture, degradation, sexual assault and more over a long period of time, and it is implied it is something that still continues and that no one else knows about. Lobco's lack of self esteem and depression was not directly caused by these experiences, but severely worsened by them and instilled in her a great sense of distrust towards most people and effects a lot of the way in which she carries herself around those that she cares for.

PERSONALITY: To avoid some possible confusion, I refer to Lobco as a shrimp/lobster/crustacean because she is technically a hybrid of the two. She has weird parentage.

Lobco is a very polite and prim person. She’s always mindful of her manners, always tries to think about others and the position they are in, and tries her best to be kind and patient with everyone. Considering some of the things she has undergone, one would think that Lobco would be a bitter and resentful person, but she is incredibly empathetic and compassionate person. She’s quite a stickler for keeping things clean and having everything in its proper order, to a point that it could be considered a tick. She enjoys cleaning and general housework, a trait that she inherited from her mother and learning about everything under the sun. When we are first introduced to her she is in her crustacean form, riding in Chlomaki’s (her witch's) hat as she returns Wadanohara’s ocarina.

Lobco is essentially the straight man to Chlomaki’s wise guy. Chlomaki is a powerful witch, but Lobco is the one who has to remind her of her duties, of why she set out to do certain things, was the one who kept her on track and tried to remind her to be serious in certain situations. Lobco taught her a lot about the sea but unfortunately her witch tended to either completely ignore her until she heard it from someone else, or at the very least pretended to in hopes of getting a rise out of her.

Lobco puts up with a lot from her Witch who often hits her, teases her, and seems to barter with her life when using spells that can drain a familiar. It shows either incredible patience, perseverance, a strong sense of duty or how desperate she is to be important to people outside of her parents. Perhaps a combination of all four, as it is a bit of a joke that other citizens of the Sea Kingdom tend to forget/ignore her, and even Lobco refers to herself as ‘just some shrimp’.

The truth is Lobco suffers from depression, anxiety, ptsd and might even have a bit of Stockholm syndrome going on. For every word that she says, there are at least twenty more that she keeps to herself, and she expresses several times a desire to ‘just die’. Outside of the game there have been several official comics/pics that show her as being a bit of a doormat, and being prone to misfortune and freaking out. She is also a victim of extreme abuse. While her witch can be pretty bad, it doesn't measure up even a bit to what she receives from a demon named Roc Hijohshiki, something she suffers alone and has exacerbated the aforementioned disorders, and instilled the Stockholm syndrome.

When it comes to other people, she is someone who is strong, knows when to act, and doesn’t let that fear get in her way. She left the kingdom to explore. It is said that a lot of misfortune tends to befall her whenever she leaves the sea (and considering what she encounters and other comments made by the creator, it's possible that Lobco is literally cursed with bad luck) and this tends to get under Lobco’s skin, strengthening her pessimism but even then she never stopped traveling.

In her profile she is said to love ‘home’ and her hobby is 'photography’. Despite her traveling there is nothing she loves more than her home and family. The lobster simply has a case of wanderlust and a desire to forge herself into a better person–which she doesn’t think she’d be able to do remaining where she was. She’s got an artistic side that doesn’t often come up.

POWERS/ABILITIES: Lobco's most notable ability is the power to transform. She is in actuality a crustacean with the ability to take on a humanoid shape, rather than the reverse. Thus, Lobco can change between said humanoid form and her shrimp form or anything in between (taking on some traits and not others). In her shrimp form she is but an inch long.

In her crustacean form she is still able to speak as she normally does. Whenever she transform, she retains whatever she has on her person, such as her clothing, when she returns to her humanoid form.

In both forms she can breath underwater, and if she has a contract with someone, she can grant them the ability to breath underwater as well if they are in her vicinity.

She is capable of regenerating her extremities and overall is built tougher than a human, but it would take months for her to regrow them and she can still bleed out or die from infection if not given proper treatment. Her antennas allow her to sense and derive all sorts of information from the air.

Drinking her witch's blood enables her to have a burst of extreme speed and power, but it is quickly vanished and if abused can kill Lobco. Other abilities that come from her contract is the potential to inherit her witch's magic if trained, and an ability to remain conscious of her life and general location. This also connects her to all other familiars that her witch has, which at the present are four others.

    babysitting (kurotsuno & lobco)

    [Originally on tumblr]

There were times when Lobco actually began to question if perhaps she had been wrong about what it meant to be a familiar. Too often she heard people speak of it disdainfully, outright call it a form of slavery that the weak willingly entered.

She would argue that every time, adamantly so, but when your witch did something like bartering you off (even if only for two weeks) to make up to someone for “having maybe gone too far with a joke” she began to see why people would see it that way.

A part of her had considered refusing. Lobco had been very careful when she wrote out her part of the contract, and something like this she could refuse if she so wished. Upon hearing the one that Chlomaki had aggravated had been Kurotsuno, however, Lobco relented. It was two weeks. While she was still largely intimidated by the young demon, Lobco felt as long as she was polite and just did her work that it would be fine.

So it was thanks to all that, that she found herself at the door to the ominous, but beautiful mansion where Kuro resided with nothing more than the clothes on her back and her traveler’s pouch.

    image
She knocked on the door, all the while wondering just what it was her witch had done. Chlomaki had refused to say, and Lobco had no intentions of asking Kurotsuno lest she conjure upsetting or infuriating memories.

    jacopo & nellie

It had only been been about a week since Mell's soul had moved on and Nellie already missed him. She knew it was a bit selfish of her, but the only time she had ever been apart from him (and fully cognizant) were those last years of her second life, and oh, how miserable those years had been. Nellie knew that they had been earned, considering the anguish she had inflicted on both Michelle and Mell...but it was hard moving on.

Hard, but perhaps it was better. Being away from Mell gave her more time to think about her feelings for him. She'd like to say that they were just whimsy, but that would be a lie, which meant that she had to come to a decision on how to deal with them.

This was something she had very little idea how to go about. It's not as if she could simply switch her feelings off, and even if she came to some sort of conclusion now, who was to say she would remember it in her next life? Who was to say it would even be relevant anymore? They might not be siblings, they might never meet again, and she would likely not remember any of this.

Such difficult and frustrating conundrums left the young girl in a huffy mood which led her to the kitchen where the sounds of clanging pots and pans could be heard.

There was nothing here other than utensils. The dead did not need food--not in this particular state of mind, but going through and cleaning everything helped her calm down.

    ...a little bit.

"Stupid, stupid mansion." Okay it wasn't the mansion's fault, but she didn't care about details right now.

    purgatory (michel & jacopo)

When Michel first realized that releasing a soul would be a long process, he had been concerned. Morgana had made her decision to finally end these long years of torturing those who wronged her, but it was simply not that easy. The decision may have been made, her soul had begun to heal, but the imprint of that hatred had remained.

This in itself was not particularly troublesome. What had worried him was that it might end up forcing Giselle to remain in that darkness for longer. Fortunately that fear had been allayed and she had soon returned--still trapped, but with him and all the other souls who had found themselves.

It was unfortunate that they would have to wait longer but what was a couple months after several hundred years? With everyone on the path to a better life, Michel did not feel inclined to complain. He could spend more time with Giselle. He could find reconciliation with his brothers. Was it odd to say, that despite being stuck in such a miserable place, he was happy?

More so when Mell was finally released, solidifying that they would indeed walk free.

Today--or, well, what felt like a separate day found Michel a bit restless. He was not quite accustomed to inability to sleep that all their souls harbored, having spent so much of his existence in a dark abyss, senses fogged and mind near broken. Giselle, Nellie, Pauline and Maria were having their 'girl talk' which left him to his own devices.

His meandering first led him to the garden where he first met Mell, face to face. Admittedly he had been quite irritated by the boy when they first met, but that irritation had never been born out of dislike. More frustration at seeing someone who could be better, decidedly not doing better. Out of reflex Michel had nearly gone to the cellar next before quickly changing direction. While he doubted that Yukimasa was keeping himself locked up in there, he'd rather not risk it. The swordsman no longer frightened him but he still insisted on keeping that 'angel' ideal going on which was more than a little uncomfortable.

At last his legs brought him to the room with the now familiar billiards table, where he paused at the threshold. There was Jacopo. The man, who in the pursuit of power and control had lost what he truly valued, his friendship and his love. While he had done horrible things, Michel still couldn't help but sympathize with him, and so after only a small pause he entered the room.

"Jacopo?" he gave a quick glance at the billiard table--that thing still confounded him, "How....are you doing?" he asked awkwardly.

    Well.

Conversation was still not his strong point, but the sentiment was genuine.

father to the rescue (cherryblod & lobco)

    Continued from here

[There's blood. The air becomes thick with it, the smell, something she recognizes all too well. It takes a moment for Lobco to realize what happened, to recognize that her father has already moved, and then the fight speeds along with her.

It seems strange that being rescued is so much more shocking than the predicament that she found herself to begin with--but she had long since stopped calling for help in her life. No one ever came.

When she realizes who it is, however, and that he has sustained an injury she's quick to take up a combative position herself.

The shark that toss to his feet with the sweep of her father's tail--she's quick to race forward and swing her leg with great force towards his head giving it a sharp crack and rendering him unconscious.]

...no. I don't have to be either.

[If Scarlett were to be honest...if this really is outside The House (which surely it must be at this point) then she's similarly glad to be away. After all her failure, after all the people she had hurt...it was for the best.

At the same time she also felt guilty and hoped that everyone else had been freed to. Out of everyone she was the one who deserved freedom the least.]

If I may ask, where exactly are you from?
