Hollow Knight Voice Testing

Not doing any fancy editing for this. This post is created for people to voice test or seek castmates for PSLs. The only rules are the following:
  1. Only Hollow Knight / Silksong characters may make top levels. If you have an original character so long as they are made for this setting, you are absolutely welcome to make a top level.
  2. Characters from other fandoms are allowed to participate but only by replying to HK characters.
  3. If things become NSFW either via dark topics, violence or smut please take it somewhere private as this is open to all and so there might be minors.
  4. OOC thread is there for introductions/plotting but not necessary. Use the post as you wish!

"Nothing to p-p-provide, has this sentinel," echoes a tinny, mellow voice, as though through a long metal channel. But—no, even then, something about it is just a little too off from the intonation of most bugs. Of beasts, even.

"Instead, it would seek the knowledge held by the keeper of relics."

Hold on a tick. That voice...she has not heard it specifically, but her guest's manner of speaking is not unlike the Citadel's automatons. Has she heard something like it before? Or merely heard of it? It's difficult to recall at the moment, but it's clear that this is no dullard resident of Bellhart or dreary pilgrim seeking refuge from the current state of Pharloom. Many have had their lives uprooted by the disaster, were they lucky to keep them at all. But not Scrounge. She is as she always has been. Though that mention of being a sentinel...could it be? On the rare moments when she has chosen to leave her home for one reason or another, she's heard the masses speaking of something similar. A golden savior carving away those who would threaten the denizens of Pharloom.

A rare opportunity presents itself here.

"It would, would it?" her tone is noticeably more relaxed. Her voice remains loud, but only enough to pierce through the closed door. "Then it's come to the right place. Enter, the door's unlocked. Hurry! Let me have a look at you."

The door swings open. The figure has to duck to step through, so tall and gallant is the gilded knight, its limbs and joints clicking the mechanisms inside of a rosary stringer.

It enters, and it bows, crossing two gleaming scissor-blades across its chest, elegant and asymmetric in form. The whole of its shell is chipped, scratched, and worn. Recent damage—likely from the restless black dead.

"Presented, is this s-s-sentinel. Its shell, it offers for inspection."

Even if Scrounge was more than confident that the guest who had approached her home was an automaton, there really is something to be said for seeing it in all of its glory. Her eyes widen and her voice grows quiet. All she can do is stare and marvel at the sight before her. She inches cautiously forward at first, and then within seconds she is upon the Second Sentinel, head out in front, to excitedly perform the inspection. Oh what a joyous day this is! Why, she feels like a young larvae again.

"Fascinating." she says, giving it some space as her body coils to and fro, inspecting it further. "Expertly-crafted. Good working condition, though not without wearing. No doubt thanks to those outside, yes?" she shakes her head. "No respect for history found by them outside. Living or dead? Ensnared or otherwise? Pah! Doesn't matter."

And it really is a shame. But alas, it is what it is. Having satiated her curiosity for the moment, and I do mean the moment, she pulls back a smidge. "You mentioned seeking my knowledge, yes? What for? To repair your shell? Proper maintenance? Something else? Speak plainly."
