She asks her question and in an instant his mind draws blank, as though she has inadvertently pulled the rug out from under his entire mind. For a few moments, his mind races as he tries to think of what next. As much as he had fought to have her brought to the Archbishop, he had neglected to think of what he would say once they arrived and how he would argue in that defense. For the moment, when his mind finally kicks back into gear, he considers their options as best he can. He knows little to nothing of what she actually saw, what her visions are truly like.
