[Life had been too good for Ysayle as of late. Suspiciously so. She was not accustomed to so many things falling into place but ever since the Warrior of Light had arrived everything clicked into place. Granted, with it there had been many trials as well, not the least of which was finding out a lot of what she had believed was a lie. Yet for however painful that had been to face, she was grateful for it. She'd been able to do some good with saving them from the Garleans and joining them in the ensuing battles, and now with Nidhogg's shade defeated she fallen into the role of diplomat, largely operating out of Anyx Trine.
So it was no surprise that she was there when...whatever bizarre contraption this was had plunged into it. After hastily running around, trying to figure out if anyone had been hurt, Ysayle was the first to approach the mess, ready to conjure her sword and shield should it prove dangerous.
She watches the man from a distance for a beat or two, taking him is, scrutinizing him and trying to scry out signs of any weapons. Then her gaze turns to the grating machine next to him with a frown. Well. All that information there meant very little to her and she's mightily confused by all the heat that seems to be billowing from him. Yet he's clearly in distress and she's never been one to be able to abandon someone.
Cautiously she closes the gap between them. The heat is a lot, especially for her, but she steels herself and kneels down near him. With a flick up her wrist she conjures up huge blocks up ice that hover above--hopefully it'll cool the air around them.]
