Ysayle sat down next to Alisaie, tucking her legs under her and setting the tray between them so the younger Elezen could pick her cup at her leisure. The question was one that required a good amount of thought because there was much in her life that currently required adjusting to.
For all that she loathed it the Dragonsong War had been the driving force of her life for the past near decade. Never would she dare voice a complaint, and it wasn't that she was bothered but it certainly was odd to no longer have the goal of its end in her mind. No more gathering people to her cause, no longer managing a private army and all that entailed, no more evading the Holy See and its soldiers or the Temple Knights, no more living sun by sun, bell by bell.
"It still feels a touch odd to not awake to all I once had to do when I was Lady Iceheart. Further still to be outside of Coerthas when it is the only home I have ever known. But...I am grateful to be here, when by all accounts I should not be." There was a lot more to say there but for all the maturity and strength Alisaie had shown thus far, Ysayle still didn't think it right to lay such burdensome thoughts on one so young.
"And what of you?" No doubt she was still plagued by everything that had happened with Ga Bu.
