The simple act of them curling their fingers against her cheek filled her with a sensation that both warmed her, and made her ache. How sweet it was just to feel their hand against her cheek; their palm was cool and hard, but carried with it such an indescribable gentleness and care. This was something she had yearned for so much: to be touched in such a manner, and to be able to touch someone likewise.

It was almost embarrassing how much of an effect it had on her, the way it filled her chest with butterflies and almost made her eyes well up.

She closed them and took a deep breath to steady herself, kissing their finger. Lobco didn't want to give them the wrong impression.
