A deep tissue massage just wasn't as effective on a carapace as it was on skin and muscle. The contact was what was important, however, and the intimacy of bathing even more so. Yes, Chroma was an important thing in this place, but both of them allowing themselves to feel both vulnerable and valuable enough to be this close to each other eclipsed it by far.

Lobco slipping her towel off only added to that. It hadn't taken long for the Hollow Knight to realize how important clothing were to the majority here, and how sensual removing it could be for them. For Lobco to do it around them spoke volumes for her comfort, and to be a source of that for her... If it could have sighed in pleasure, it would have.

She still wanted to dote on it, and so it didn't have time to wrap its arms around her, skin to shell, but that could come later. It kept itself stretched out, enjoying the feel of her hands on it, and the warm water lapping against its shell.

And then came the brush to the jointed segments of its body.

It jolted at first, similar to an involuntary muscle twitch. The Hollow Knight turned its head to look at what she was doing, flexed the joint slightly, and then laid it back down. It bowed its head to her to try to show that it hadn't minded the touch.

In fact, it had been quite pleasant.
